Dual Sim Mobile Phone News

Nokia

One of the oldest and most established mobile phone brands has now got an array of Dual Sim Mobile Phones in its arsenal. Nokia have been producing Dual Sim Mobile Phones for several years now, but it is only in the last 18 months that their handsets are starting to boast the sort features that could be found on their standard single sim mobile phones. As you would expect the build quality of Nokia’s Dual Sim Mobile Phones is second to none, the features are constantly being updated and with the recent integration of Google Android to its single sim mobile phones Nokia could soon be set to become a much bigger force in the Dual Sim Mobile Phone marketplace.

Latest News From Nokia:

Whilst not Dual Sim, Nokia's new 808 shows promise for what we can soon hope to expect from their Dual Sim Models:

"The
Nokia 808 PureView features a large, high-resolution 41 megapixel sensor with high-performance Carl Zeiss optics and new pixel oversampling technology. At standard resolutions (2/3, 5 and 8 megapixels) this means the ability to zoom without loss of clarity and capture seven pixels of information, condensing into one pixel for the sharpest images imaginable. At high-resolution (38 megapixel maximum) it means the ability to capture an image, then zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards to expose previously unseen levels of details. With superior low-light performance and the ability to save in compact file sizes for sharing in email, MMS, and on social networks, the Nokia 808 PureView makes it possible for anyone to capture professional looking images in any conditions."

As you can see Nokia have big plans for the future, and are already showing signs of being a serious major competitor for the likes of the iPhone, and the Samsung Galaxy S 2 and popular HTC Android models. Surely it makes sense that the first of the big players to grasp a hold of the Dual Sim Mobile Phone marketplace will be winning the race in the smart phone wars. We can only watch this space and hope that the features found on their top end single sim phones will soon be found in their Dual Sim Mobile Phones. Nokia were one of the first and it looks like they are hear to stay for a very long time

Google Android

There are a wide range of phones now using the Google Android operating system; HTC, Samsung, Nokia to name but a few. It is widely being accepted as the best all round operating system, less restrictive than Apple’s iPhone OS, more reliable than the Windows mobile platform. Now there are several brands such as Alactel and ZTE who are using the Google Android operating system on their Dual Sim Mobile Phones. It seems a sure bet that with the latest android 4.0 update now becoming available that any Dual Sim Mobile Phone running Google Android will be at the top of the Dual Sim Mobile Phone food chain.

Latest News From Google Android:

"Introducing Android 4.0

Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the latest version of the Android platform for phones, tablets, and more. It builds on the things people love most about Android — easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and deep interactivity — and adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing.

Simple, Beautiful, Useful

Refined, evolved UI

Focused on bringing the power of Android to the surface, Android 4.0 makes common actions more visible and lets you navigate with simple, intuitive gestures. Refined animations and feedback throughout the system make interactions engaging and interesting. An entirely new typeface optimized for high-resolution screens improves readability and brings a polished, modern feel to the user interface.

Virtual buttons in the System Bar let you navigate instantly to Back, Home, and Recent Apps. The System Bar and virtual buttons are present across all apps, but can be dimmed by applications for full-screen viewing. You can access each application's contextual options in the Action Bar, displayed at the top (and sometimes also at the bottom) of the screen.

Multitasking is a key strength of Android and it's made even easier and more visual on Android 4.0. The Recent Apps button lets you jump instantly from one task to another using the list in the System Bar. The list pops up to show thumbnail images of apps used recently — tapping a thumbnail switches to the app."

So it seems clear that unless Apple can pull something truely amazing out of the bag Android is set to swallow up the market. It seems it is only Apple's strong focus on Advertising and Marketing that is keeping their grip of market share, surely as soon as people start realising what they are missing out on by not going with Google Android more and more will move over to Android phones. The fact that Android is being used more and more for Dual Sim Mobile Phones is very promising and positive news indeed.

Samsung

Samsung are now producing some of the best mobile phones on the market place, the Samsung Galaxy S 2 is considered the best phone of 2011 and is still fighting off competitors for the top spot. Samsung were also one of the first to offer Dual Sim Mobile Phones to the marketplace. Like with Nokia Samsung have been around for years and offer build quality and features of the highest standard. Samsung were one of the first major brands to use Google Android and we are excited to see when their first Android Dual Sim Mobile Phone will be on offer.

Latest News From Samsung:

"
Samsung UK is working hard to bring Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to our Galaxy S II customers. We are unable to confirm exact dates as the software testing and approval process is subject to several variables, but we are working as quickly as we can. Thank you for your patience."

So it seems that Samsung are looking to boost the ever popular Samsung Galaxy S 2 with Android 4.0, but when well we see a Dual Sim Samsung boasting such features? Not too long we hope. Their market share is ever growing and it would seem if they marketed and advertised as well as Apple there is no reason why it will not be the Samsung Galaxy S 2 that you see in everyones hands on the tube, at the resaurant and in the airpot lounge. It seems that eveyone form the UK to Austrailia has an iPhone owner in their family, but the big boys boasting the latest Android OS look to soon become the most popular players in town.
